Explore the wide range of historic buildings and displays rescued from the area. They and their contents bring to life the lives of ordinary people from over the past 2,000 years. The Museum has something for all ages: from a model village to a witch's hovel and even a potato bus! We also have livestock and gardens. All this is set in the picturesque moorland village of Hutton Le Hole.
The Museum opens daily from mid January to early December, has wheelchair access and is dog friendly. We host a full programme of special events during the year, check our website for more information to see what's going on!
